OUR PROCESS
Mediation is available in-person or virtually using Zoom or WebEx Videoconferencing.
Mediations occur at one of the lawyers' offices, a court reporter’s office, or other agreed-upon location.
Once your booking is confirmed, email a copy of the Notice of Mediation or any correspondence between the parties confirming mediation to Jennifer@FeldLegal.com.
Please submit any materials you want reviewed before mediation at least 48 hours prior.
RATES
Mediation Fee: $420 per hour, split evenly among the parties unless otherwise agreed by all parties. There is a 3-hour minimum for all mediations, or $1260 total.
Half-day mediations typically start at 9:30am and 1:30pm. Should you require an alternative start time, please indicate so in your Booking Request Form.
Full-day mediations occur from 9:00am - 5:00pm (including an hour lunch). Additional time may be requested.
For complex matters, please reserve a full day to ensure the best possible outcome.
Cancellation Fee: The minimum fee ($1260) will be charged if cancellation occurs less than 7 days prior to the scheduled mediation date.
Cancellations should be in writing and following an agreement of all parties and counsel. Unless otherwise agreed, all parties and their counsel are equally responsible for any cancellation fee.
Travel: Travel will be billed at half the hourly rate ($210/hour). There is no charge for travel in Hillsborough County, Florida. Airfare and reasonable lodging will be added to the mediation invoice if required for attendance.

Jennifer is available to assist counsel in defending against or supporting attorneys' fees claims. During her many years of practice in personal injury, first party property, and general civil disputes Jennifer Feld prepared billing guidelines, defended audits, drafted budgets, edited pre-bills, and attended hearings on attorney fee claims.
With this vast experience, Jennifer is available to review supportive documents and come to a determination on the reasonableness of attorneys' fees. She is also available to assist in settlement proceedings by assessing exposure to fees.
